DC XI is thrilled to announce our participation in the USL Y League this summer! As part of this elite competition, DCXI will field four teams in the 2008, 2011, 2013, and 2015 age groups, giving our players an incredible opportunity to compete against top-level talent during the summer months.
What is USL Y League?
Previously known as Super Y, USL Youth is an elite summer league that focuses on high-level competition and player development. It provides a structured environment for athletes to enhance their skills, gain valuable game experience, and stay sharp ahead of the fall season. The league is part of USL's youth-to-pro pathway, offering players a steppingstone toward higher levels of the game.
How to Get Involved
Current DCXI players have already been considered through coach nominations, but non-DCXI players are welcome to try out as well email us for details on tryouts!
The USL Youth season runs from June to July, with 6-8 games in the Mid-Atlantic Division. Training will take place up to three times per week to ensure consistent player development and team chemistry. Qualifying teams will compete in the National Championship in Tampa, Florida, in December.
